  1. Does TaxFreeway for Windows only cost $9.95? Is there any additional cost?

    Per product key cost $9.95 (plus tax) to prepare and file up to twenty* returns for current tax year and there is no additional cost. No additional cost for NETFILE and print. No restriction on income level. Product key is valid only for current tax year software release.

    If your total family income (line 15000) is $20,000 or less, you can prepare your tax return with TaxFreeway for Windows at no cost.

    * CRA requirement for NETFILE certified software: maximum 20 tax returns per computer.

  2. How can I obtain TaxFreeway for Windows product key?

    After purchasing a product key for current tax year, you can sign in your TaxFreeway user account to get the product key for this tax year.
    You can then enable NETFILE and Print features in TaxFreeway with your product key.

  3. What is the general procedure to tryout and purchase TaxFreeway for Windows 2023?

    • Free download TaxFreeway for Windows 2023 installer from our download page.
    • Install it on your computer to tryout. (NETFILE and Print features are not enabled.)

    • Click button My Account, sign in to get your product key. Use the key to enable NETFILE and Print features.
